You have been a listening ear
And a wealth of good advice
No matter what challenges
And obstacles I face,
I know there is someone I can run to
Someone who will be there when I need him
We have shared many good times

But even though we often go our separate ways
I know, if I reach out to you
You will be there to listen, to support, to protect, advise
